Four Logan County 4-H members were recently acknowledged during the Lifetime 4-H Achievement Awards Ceremony held in Champaign on November 19th.

Among those recognized were brother and sister Clayton and Grace Skelton.

Two previous Logan County awardees were also acknowledged for their continuance to excel in their 4-H careers. Katlyn Helton was selected as a Blue Award Winner in Communications and Project Mastery, as well as an Illinois State 4-H Key Award winner; and Alyssa Zimmer was selected as an Illinois 4-H Legacy of Leadership scholarship recipient.

Recently, the Lincoln Area Music Society led by director Tim Searby gave a holiday performance at St. Clara's Manor. This has become an annual event for residents that they very much enjoy and appreciate.

For the rest of us, the annual Holiday concert opens tonight at the Lincoln Community High School Auditorium. The concert will run tonight at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.. The event is free to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door, but are not required.
