On
Tuesday evening, by unanimous vote the Lincoln City
Council approved a proclamation making today, July
7th, 2016 Lincoln Woman's Club Day in the city. On
hand for the vote and presentation of the
proclamation were several members of the club. The
ladies assembled with Mayor Marty Neitzel for a
group photo commemorating the event. The written
copy of the proclamation was then presented to the
Club President Sandy Johnson. This year marks the
120th anniversary of the club. During the council
meeting, Neitzel acknowledged the contribution the
club has made to the community through various
efforts and thanked them for their years of
commitment to making the community better.
