Lincoln
Mayor Marty Neitzel is invited to join David
Lanterman in the snipping of the ribbon on the new
Lincoln Grand 8 Theater Thursday evening. The
theater is officially open though there is still
some work to do inside. However, in the lobby of the
new building, nothing could be added that would make
it any more spectacular. From the extremely high
ceiling, elegant lighting, and stunning decor, the
theater is breathtaking. As has been noted by many,
the theater is going to be a huge asset to the city.
Lanterman himself said on Thursday evening that it
was not just his theater, it belongs to the
community. LDN will have additional coverage of the
theater in it's Saturday edition.
