Small Business Saturday, it was no small
thing that one local business did for
the Humane Society of Logan County. P &
M Communications in Lincoln held a pet
food drive for the HSLC and collected
approximately 700 pounds of dog and cat
food. According to HSLC, the food will
go a long way toward stocking the pantry
at the local shelter and providing food
for the shelter pets for months to come.
The event included opportunities for
donors to register for gift certificates
and other prizes. Local businesses who
helped out by donating those prizes
included Mary Todd’s Hallmark, Graue,
Inc., Best Friends Animal Hospital,
Lincoln IGA, Jake’s Furnishings, Big
Paws K-9 Grooming, Brenda Short at Brady
Realtors and P&M Communications.
