The
Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce and
Lincoln College are partnering to host a Mayoral
Forum for the four candidates running for mayor
of the city of Lincoln. The forum will be held
on February 1st at 7 p.m. at the Johnston Center
for the Performing Arts at Lincoln College.
Citizens of Lincoln are invited to be a part of
this important evening and may submit advance
questions for the candidates to the chamber. To
have your question included be sure to phrase it
so that it is a question each of the four
candidates will be able to answer. In other
words, please do not single out one particular
candidate to whom your question should be
addressed. Questions should be emailed to the
Chamber at the address above, or may be
submitted on the night of the forum during the
event.
The deadline for submitting questions in advance
is Wednesday, January 25th.

weekend, the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams
competed at the 14-team Snowbird Invite hosted by
Illinois College. Lincoln was the only two-year athletic
program at the meet. The men’s team finished in 5th
overall and the women’s team finished in 7th.
