Motorists
driving past the First United Methodist
Church on Broadway Street in Lincoln may
have noticed the fencing around the
building and the boarded up windows in
some areas. Worry not, the church has
not suffered damage, it is enduring
growing pains! The congregation was
happy to see work begin last Thursday on
a new "church enhancement project." The
upgrading of the church will include
making the church more accessible for
those in walkers, wheelchairs, and
strollers. The project is coming at a
cost of nearly $2 million.
