The
bumper sticker reads "Caution! Kiwis crossing
the USA on Route 66.” It was attached to one of
six Ford Mustangs making a rest stop at Cliff's
on Fifth this week. The group of cars was led by
a couple from New Zealand who manage and lead a
Route 66 road trip. It began for them as a trip
they wanted to make themselves, then they came
back bringing family and friends...more than a
few times. Now it is a summertime tradition for
the couple. On this stint, the group began in
California and will end in Chicago where they
will meet with a new group and lead the way back
to California again.
