Lincoln
Rotary President Kirby Rodgers addresses the
audience at the annual Pearl Harbor Day
observance at Lincoln Heritage Museum on Friday.
Rodgers shared information about the Hometown
Hero project that the Rotary is working on for
the Lincoln community. Banners honoring active
military as well as veterans will be hung around
the Historic Logan County Courthouse Square as
well as in Latham and Scully Parks. Applications
for a banner are available from the Lincoln
Rotary.

Podbelsek, left, and daughter Amanda Maxheimer
snip the ribbon at the one-year anniversary of
the opening of Podbelsek Family Creations. The
store opened Thanksgiving weekend 2017, but did
not have a ribbon cut on that day. This past
weekend made up for that omission and helped the
family celebrate their first year of success.
