On
Monday, Karen Klockenga-Burgrabe and her
daughter Danielle spent all day setting
up a new exhibit at the Logan County
Fair in the Fine Arts department.
Klockenga-Burgabe spearheaded a project
involving elementary students in grades
kindergarten through second, countywide.
She asked teachers and administrators to
encourage the more than 850 students in
these age groups to create works of art
for the fair. The end result was that
more than 700 students answered the call
and all this week will have their
artwork on display. Look for the new
exhibit, "Making Memories County Youth
Art Program" when you visit the fair
this week.
