The
opening ceremonies for this year's Relay
for Life is just a little more than 24
hours away. This year two remarkable
ladies will fill the position of
Honorary Co-Chairs for the event. Young
Jolene Fellers and her grown-up
counterpart Amy Weidhuner are both
cancer survivors. To see survivors is
the reason the Relay for Life of Logan
County works so hard to raise money.
Those efforts provide funding for cancer
research and also offers support to
local cancer patients through services
provided by the American Cancer Society.
Please join the Relay for Life of Logan
County on Saturday, June 16th in
celebration of local lives. Opening
ceremonies start at 1 p.m., and the
closing ceremony will take place at 11
p.m. Come for the day or drop in for a
short visit, attend the auction, play
games, learn to line dance, listen to
good music, and visit with your friends
and neighbors!
