On
Thursday morning downtown Lincoln was a
very busy place as children from a
variety of local schools came to the
Logan County Courthouse Square to
express themselves artistically through
sidewalk chalk art.
According to Abby Neece of the Lincoln
Park District more than 40 groups signed
up to do sidewalk art this year. She
added that most all the schools had
signed up and the individual classes
were busy decorating their allotted
spaces.
In front of National Rent to Own, LDN
caught up with the sixth grade students
from West Lincoln Broadwell. They were
just wrapping up their work and getting
ready to head back to the classroom.
However, they we all very anxious to
gather into a nice little group for a
photo for LDN!
Look for all the artwork this afternoon
before or after the Homecoming parade.
In the meantime, LDN has a sneak peek of
some of the work around the storefront
sides of the square in today's edition.
