This
past Sunday, Mama's Arcade partnered with Open Arms Christian
Fellowship Church in Lincoln to serve about 700 meals to area
families through the Open Arms drive-thru lunch at the church. Marci
Eads with help from her sidekick Amy and several others, prepared
and loaded up chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and
dessert for the trip to the church.
This is the third Sunday that OACF has provided meals for the
community and also made deliveries to local first responders. Pastor
Larry Crawford said Sunday that the church wants to keep this up,
but as on Sunday, did not have a restaurant to partner with for next
weekend. Any restaurant in the community with the capacity to
prepare that much food is invited to contact Crawford. The goal of
the program is to help local families during this time of financial
hardship for so many, and also to help maintain our local economy by
sourcing local restaurants to prepare the food.

potatoes before sending them out to the church.
