WE MESSED UP AND
NOW WE NEED TO MAKE IT RIGHT.
Earlier this week in an article
for our 2019 year in review we reported incorrect
information regarding the Public Facilities Tax referendum
that will be on the ballot in 2020. In the article about the
two hot topics in 2019 it stated that if the tax referendum
it passed would provide funding for the courthouse repair
and the Logan County Jail upgrades. That is wrong.
The tax referendum, if passed will bring in money ONLY for
the repair and restoration of the Logan County Courthouse.
We deeply regret this error and any trouble it may have
caused for the Logan County Board or confusion for our Logan
County residents. |
The
mascot of one of baseball's most popular teams will be
posing for pictures, signing autographs, and eating with
fans at American Legion Post 263 breakfast buffet from 9:30
a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 12th.
Fredbird debuted as the mascot of the St. Louis Cardinals in
1979. The popular mascot is known for his dancing, practical
jokes, and sending t-shirts into the stands during the
Cardinal’s home games at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The
iconic mascot is also known to "beak" fans' heads, tilting
his head down and putting their heads in his mouth. It's all
in good fun, of course! |
