Once
again this year, Scott Turner is spearheading a spring
clean-up day around the city of Lincoln. This Saturday,
April 24, the community is encouraged to come out and
pitch in to pick up trash around the town.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Latham Park in Lincoln.
Collection teams will go out from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. When
the work is done, a free lunch courtesy of Nuthatch Hill
BBQ will be provided to all volunteers.
Turner is working with Area Disposal for the collection
of the filled bags. The goal for this year is 300 bags
collected.
For questions about the collection day, contact Turner
at 217-620-4641.
