Once again this year the Lincoln
Community High School Railsplitter Baseball team had the
honor of playing in the big leagues so to speak. The
team traveled to Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Memorial
Day to play on the Major League Ballfield against
Central A&M.
This year, the Railers came home victorious, beating
Central A&M with a final score of 16-4.
LDN Sportswriter Teena Lowery traveled to St. Louis to
watch the game and bring readers an in-depth report of
the day. Be sure to read that story in today’s edition
of Lincoln Daily News.
