Today is Wednesday, November 1st, meaning that the October Paint the Paper Pink campaign is officially over. Throughout the month LDN published 66 photos of different organizations, clubs, and businesses in Logan County. Within those photos, including the pictures of LDN staff and stringers today, there were 701 people.

The breast cancer awareness campaign is very important to us at LDN, and we want to thank all of those who chose to participate. This month of showing support for current warriors, survivors, and their families is just a piece of what we should all be doing. While we are no longer asking that folks wear pink on Friday’s, we will ask that you all continue to remember those who are battling any form of cancer. Odds are that everyone in this county knows at least one person in that position, and that person needs our prayers and our encouragement. If you have not reached out to them yet, take a moment to do so today and let them know they are loved and in our prayers.

To our warriors, we want to send a message as well. We know it is tough, but you are tougher. We wish you all the best and pray that you will soon be able to say you too are a survivor!

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Logan County Courthouse and all county offices will be closed Monday, November 6th to allow for the new HVAC electrical upgrades that are a portion of the Logan County Courthouse Restoration Project.
