On Saturday morning Lincoln Mayor Tracy Welch (left) hosted Coffee with the Mayor at Guest House Coffee and Pastries. Joining him was Alderman Steve Parrott (right) along with Lincoln Assistant Chief of Police Matt Comstock, and Lincoln Fire Chief Bob Dunovsky.

Illinois Representative Bill Hauter also stopped in for the open forum meeting with citizens of Lincoln.

Thursday, September 14, 2023, the southbound lane of Wyatt Avenue in Lincoln will be closed from South Kickapoo Street to South Ladue Street to allow Lincoln Community High School students and parents to whitewash and decorate the boulevards for Homecoming weekend.

There will be a partial closure of Wyatt Avenue between Ladue and Railer Way, but traffic will be allowed. Southbound Wyatt Avenue traffic should use Decatur Street to get to Railer Way and Primm Rd.
