The Lady Railers have done it again! They are headed to the
state final this evening with one goal in mind,
bringing home that Championship trophy. The Friday
morning game between Lincoln and Montini started out
as a bit of a nail biter, as the Montini lady
Broncos held their own in the first quarter for
sure, but in the second quarter the tides begin to
turn, and by the end of the game, there was no
contest, as the starters took a chair and the second
line came in, those girls also proved to the
Bronco’s that the Lady Railers were a force to be
reckoned with.
The Lady Railers will play the last game of the year
tonight at 5:30 p.m. in CEFCU Arena. Their opponent
will be fellow CS8 team Chatham-Glenwood. For the
record, the last time these two teams met, Lincoln
ended the game with a running clock, defeating
Glenwood 54-20.
