At the Tuesday evening meeting of
the Lincoln City Council, Police Chief Joe Meister
(far left) spoke with Mark Doolin about the concerns
local residents have over the rise in crime in their
communities.
Meister shared his frustration regarding new laws
put into place this year that tie the hands of local
law enforcement when it comes to detaining suspects
in crimes of theft and burglary.
