Wednesday
evening the Boy Scout “Rub Club” got together at the
Lincoln IGA for their annual meeting with pounds and
pounds of pork butt and shoulder. The group gets
together every year a few days before the annual Boy
Scout BBQ. They prep the meat for the smokers that
will cook it to sweet perfection for the Sunday
noon-day fundraiser.
The annual Boy Scout BBQ will be this Sunday at the
Lincoln Knights of Columbus from 10:30 a.m. to 2
p.m. The menu includes smoked pork sandwiches, baked
beans, potato salad, cole slaw, drink, and a choice
of desserts.
