Senior Citizen Day at the Logan County Fair
Friday Was Senior Citizen Day at
the 79th Annual Logan County
Fair. It was a laid-back event with
seniors gathering in the Special
Events Barn spending time visiting
with old friends and new.
It may come as no surprise that
one of those seniors was Marion
Haseley. Now in her early 90’s, she
has attended and enjoyed every
Logan County Fair.
Some may recall, LDN caught up
with Marion a few years ago, and
she spoke about coming to the fair
for the first time as a teenager with
her father. It was so exciting for her
then, and that excitement remains
today. Earlier this year, Marion did
have a few health issues. Some may
wondered if she would continue in
her personal tradition, but there
is no wondering now! On Friday,
she was happy and full of life, and
enjoying her annual trip to the fair!
