TALLINN,
Estonia -- Illinois improved to 4-0 on its European tour with a

"We were very balanced offensively
tonight," said head coach Bruce Weber. "Deron played very well on
both ends of the court and shot the ball well. Luther played well
after struggling the last time out, and Dee scored 19 even though he
didn't shoot particularly well. Aaron Spears played his best game of
the trip so far. Their inside guys were physical, and Aaron stepped
up to the challenge. Again, we played well in transition, which is
what we want to do."
Illinois lost the battle of the boards
for the first time on the trip, by one rebound, as Nick Smith led
the Illini with six rebounds. Following Williams and Brown in the
scoring column were Luther Head with 14 points, Spears with 12,
James Augustine with 11 and Roger Powell with 10. Head added five
assists for the game. Illinois ended up shooting 52.8 percent from
the field.
