Grandma reads to children
at the Knapp Library

[JULY 11, 2003]  MIDDLETOWN -- "Grandma Reads," a special event for children, is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, at the Knapp Library and Museum. A session for children ages 2 to 4 will be at 9 a.m., and children 5 to 7 years old will have their turn at 10 a.m.

The grandma who will read, Pat Miller of Middletown, has 17 grandchildren. She is also a musically talented grandmother who plays piano and guitar, and she leads a weekly Bible study in her home.

Parents and children were asked to register in advance. For more information, call (217) 445-2050.

Regular summer hours at the Knapp Library and Museum are 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
