Hasprey to fill vacated District 6 seat

[MAY 30, 2003]  Logan County Board Chairman Dale Voyles announces District 6 board selection to fill the vacant seat created by William "Mitch" Brown's recent resignation.

Mrs. Veronica "Vicky" (Board) Hasprey of rural Lincoln will be nominated and elected with board concurrence at the June 17 meeting.

Vicky was born in Lincoln to Marvin and Joyce Board and has four brothers. She has served with the Air National Guard for 23 years and was called to active duty during the last county board race, right during campaign time, and she was on the ballot running for a District 6 seat.

Vicky is married to Keith Hasprey, and they have a daughter, Katlyn, born in 1997.

Vicky, along with her family, owns and operates Family Custom Cleaners at 621 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln. She and her husband are also part owners of Logan Lanes.

Vicky's vast experiences in business and while serving in the Air National Guard 23 years should benefit the county board, and she will represent District 6 in a professional manner.
