LC swimmers rank high in academics          Send a link to a friend

[APRIL 12, 2005]  The Lincoln College women's swimming team had the highest grade-point average among every swimming team in the nation, it has been announced by Lincoln coach Dan Hemenway. The Lady Lynx swimmers had a 3.59 GPA, which was not only No. 1 for junior college swimmers but No. 1 in the nation, including all four-year schools.

The swimmers on the Lincoln College men's team had a combined GPA of 3.33, which is No. 1 in the nation for junior college teams. They placed 10th in GPAs in the nation among all schools, four-year schools included.
