The tailgate begins at 1 p.m. and the
cost, which includes food from Times Past Inn and a raffle ticket,
is $5. The men's and women's basketball teams, in addition to the
volleyball team, will be on hand to help serve food and drinks. Door
prizes will also be awarded.
The festivities will conclude at
2:30 p.m., when the football game begins at Hancock Stadium.
Raffle prizes will be awarded at
halftime of the football game. First prize is a $2,000 Suzi Davis
Travel gift certificate. Second prize, worth $1,000, is two
round-trip tickets to any domestic destination where Airtran flies.
The third raffle prize is breakfast and a stay in a Radisson suite,
worth $500.
Tours of the new Owen Strength and
Conditioning Center in Redbird Arena will be available from 4:30 to
5:30 p.m.
