[APRIL 22, 2005]  NORMAL -- A predicted cell of inclement weather has forced the Illinois State athletics department to move the annual Red-White Spring Game tailgate inside the friendly confines of Horton Field House. Join head football coach Denver Johnson and the 2005 captains at the Illinois State Spring Football Tailgate prior to the game on Saturday.

The tailgate begins at 1 p.m. and the cost, which includes food from Times Past Inn and a raffle ticket, is $5. The men's and women's basketball teams, in addition to the volleyball team, will be on hand to help serve food and drinks. Door prizes will also be awarded.

The festivities will conclude at 2:30 p.m., when the football game begins at Hancock Stadium.

Raffle prizes will be awarded at halftime of the football game. First prize is a $2,000 Suzi Davis Travel gift certificate. Second prize, worth $1,000, is two round-trip tickets to any domestic destination where Airtran flies. The third raffle prize is breakfast and a stay in a Radisson suite, worth $500.

Tours of the new Owen Strength and Conditioning Center in Redbird Arena will be available from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
