NEW FEATURE: LDN DAILY SUDOKU.  Click here!
Migrating flocks and the absence of foliage on trees make spring great for bird-watching. A redheaded woodpecker pecks for food at the top of a towering tree in Edward Madigan (Railsplitter) State Park south of Lincoln. A cacophony of sounds can be heard in addition to the woodpeckers tapping and trilling. You'll hear finch beeps, duck quacks, goose honks, crow and numerous other bird calls throughout the woods.
