State Sen. Larry Bomke reads the story "The Ten Things I Like About Fall" to attentive students. The senator took time out from his busy schedule  to come to Lincoln to read a story to the morning Head Start class at 200 Centennial Court.

Head Start is the oldest of the programs administered by the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois. Head Start provides opportunity for children 3 to 5 years of age to develop socially, cognitively and emotionally with age-appropriate activities and materials. October is National Head Start Awareness Month.
