Another typical day in the busiest community in central Illinois.

At left, from left, Logan County Board Chairman Terry Carlton, U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock, Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder and Logan County Emergency Management Agency Director Dan Fulscher hold the check signifying a $325,000 federal grant to continue EMA communication upgrades and to improve security at City Hall.

On the right, the all-new Global Tech training school had a ribbon-cut and grand opening. The school currently offers certified training in HVAC repair, but like the city of Lincoln, the trade school's future knows no bounds. The school hopes to add other trade classes in the future.
