Sunday's strong winds left damage in their wake. The David Sasse barn at 1709 2000 Ave. was destroyed. The National Weather Service reported wind gusts of up to 58 mph. At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 190 homes in the Elkhart, Beason, Middletown area were without power. All power was restored by Monday morning.
