Letters to the Editor

Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community.

Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

InsuranceTo the editor:

Thanks to Culver's of Lincoln for hosting the benefit for the Gee Family Fund. The fund will pay for expenses related to the burial of the Gee family and for ongoing care and support of Tabitha, the only survivor. Thanks, too, to the Engage Youth Group from the Lincoln United Methodist Church and to the employees of Culver's who donated a portion of their pay that day.

The support and generosity of the community is much appreciated. God bless you all.

Pastor Dayle Badman
Beason United Methodist Church/
Logan County Parish
