DETAILS: Donate blood at this lifesaving event in support of the central Illinois blood supply. Central Illinois Community Blood Center is the blood provider to area patients of 15 counties at 12 central Illinois hospitals. CICBC is the only provider of blood to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Hopedale Medical Complex, Memorial Medical Center and St. Johnís Hospital. If you have any questions about donating, you can call 1-866-GIVE-BLD (1-866-448-3253). St. Jude Lincoln to Peoria Run

DETAILS: The runners leave Lincoln at 5:30 am and arrive in Peoria at approximately 5 pm. This year 25 area runners are participating and will be present when the donation check is presented to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 9:24 pm on live television. Come out and support a great cause. Show the runners their hard work is recognized by Lincoln.
