The National Railsplitting Festival had a ribbon cut on
Saturday without any rain. For the first time in several years,
the weather cooperated with this signature event at the
Logan County Fairgrounds. More pictures are in today's Top

crashes and explodes during a performance at the Thunder Over the Blue Ridge
Open House and Air Show at the 167th Airlift Wing in Martinsburg, W.Va. Two
crashes at two air shows in two days -- one that killed spectators, the other just
the pilot, far from fans. But there was another big difference -- fire.
