Each year shortly after the Logan County Fair, some of the animals that were exhibited in the junior livestock shows are taken to Atlanta, where they are entered in a carcass judging. Gracie Griesheim, in the picture on the left, was this year's winner in the pork carcass class. Gracie is pictured with University of Illinois meat judges Ben Peterson and Hunter Galloway. Emma Ritterbush, pictured at right, took first place in the beef carcass.
