This week, Lincoln American Legion Post 263 received a letter from Bruce DeLong of Caledonia, Nova Scotia, Canada.

DeLong had found one of the balloons launched by the Legion Auxiliary on Memorial Day.

 

Letter reads:

"I located a balloon with the attached note on June 2nd at Medway Lake while trout fishing with friends. I am including a photocopy of western Nova Scotia, Canada indicating where the balloon was found. Regards, Bruce DeLong"

Names included in the letter: Gerald Roger and Dick Mauer.
