Ruth Ann Hieronymus waits for the beginning of this year's Relay for Life at the Lincoln Center on Friday night. She was the honorary chair for the 12-hour event that wrapped up early Saturday morning. Hieronymus is a three-time survivor of cancer and very well-known for her community involvement. She dedicates herself to spreading the word that no one should ignore the signs or symptoms of cancer. In Monday's edition, LDN will have more coverage from this year's Relay for Life.
