Tuesday afternoon several Lincoln/Logan County Chamber Ambassadors turned out to welcome Steve Harvey to the community as the newest local representative for Country Financial. Harvey snipped the ribbon outside his office at 120 S. McLean St. and then treated all his guests to light refreshments. In addition to the chamber representatives, Mini Abe was also present for the ribbon-cut.

Former Lincoln residents Nathan and Kris Dolbeare have been on the trip of a lifetime, traveling around the world so that Nathan will have an opportunity to climb two of the highest mountains in the world: Mount Labouche and Mount Everest. Kris has now returned home to Colorado, but Nathan awaits the opportunity to reach the peak of Mount Everest. A recent avalanche that killed 18 has delayed the climb.
