LDN -- Top Stories

Recent rains in Logan County and points northward have resulted in the swelling of Salt Creek. These shots taken off the Salt Creek Bridge just south of the former rock quarry show the creek is full to its banks. This weekend, the weather is predicted to be more summer-like than we have seen thus far. It may be tempting to take out the canoe and enjoy the fresh air and warm temperatures. Please remember with increased water levels comes increased danger on public waterways. Until the water levels drop a bit, it might be a better idea to just sit on the banks and watch the wildlife!
