Dean
Bruns stands front and center at the ribbon
cutting for the 2018 Logan County Fair.
This past Monday, Dean went to be with his Lord
and Saviour. Visitation will be Friday evening
at the Prairieland Christian Church in
Hartsburg. The funeral will be Saturday morning,
also at the church.

At
the Monday night meeting of the Lincoln City
Council, aldermen voted unanimously to renovate
the 1936 Waste Treatment Plant laboratory
building rather than tear it down and start
anew. The idea of preserving the building
because of its significance in the city's
history, coupled with the fact that renovation
was the least expensive option appeared to make
this an easy choice for the city officials.
