LDN -- Top Stories

Did anyone figure out what the object was in the top pictures section on Friday? Well, it is a desktop cigarette case from the Augspurger & Pleines Chevrolet dealership in Lincoln and dates back between the 1940's to 1950's. One one side of the case is a knob that you push to open the center lid where you can retrieve your Camel (a popular brand back then) cigarette. Then a second knob can be pulled out to reveal a cigarette lighter. This is one of several items in a collection of dealership and franchise collectibles belonging to Chris Graue. Chris is interested in collecting more unique items relating to the dealership or the brand. If you have any such items, he would like to hear from you.
