CHRISTIAN HORIZONS

HERITAGE PACKAGING

ILLINOIS AMERICAN WATER

WEST LINCOLN-BROADWELL SCHOOL

Today we're featuring four great local groups who are showing their support for breast cancer warriors as well as survivors by wearing their pink.

This group represents four Lincoln locations, Christian Horizons, Heritage Packaging, Illinois American Water and West Lincoln Broadwell School. Also within this these four pictures alone there is a total of 74 people showing their support for breast cancer awareness.

To date, LDN has published 44 pictures containing 437 people, and we're just barely half-way through the month. It is safe to say that Logan County has really stepped up, and the LDN goal of 50 pictures and 500 people will be blown completely out of the water! Congratulations Logan County for showing your care for one another in one more manner!

Members of the Pea Pickin Orchestra with Danny Tackett as the lead, played for a nice sized audience at the Mill on Route 66 Museum on Saturday. The entertainment, held indoors at the Mill, was only a portion of the day as the Railsplitter Antique Auto Club hosted their annual Mill Cruise-in outside.
