The
Friday evening street festival in downtown Lincoln was a huge
success this past weekend. The number of people there to spend the
evening was perhaps the largest it has ever been. Around the Logan
County Courthouse Square families gathered, friends visited, and
children played, renewing the sense of community in our hometown.

The
Saturday night glow at Balloons Over 66 in Lincoln was well attended
by the community with hundreds if not a couple thousand folks coming
out to line the edges of the 300 block of Eighth Street. On the
grass 11 balloons put on a beautiful show for everyone.
