The
Salvation Army Keest Center in Lincoln is now equipped as a shelter
for veterans and offers beds for up to 11 single male veterans at a
time. The Salvation Army has also undergone other changes including
the addition of new staff to assist director Tony Shuff in meeting
the needs of all local citizens in need. Left to right - Sam Amick,
Salvation Army Heartland Division; and Lincoln staff Bill Dolan,
Tony Shuff, Rachel Oney and Matt Griffin.
Plans are underway for a ribbon cut and reception at the Keest
Center soon. The community will be invited to attend. The date and
time will be announced in Lincoln Daily News when confirmed.
