TIME TO FALL BACK

Set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night

On Friday, Logan County Tourism Bureau Director Morgan Gleason welcomed Cindy Smith to the staff at the LCTB. Smith has been hired to fill the position of assistant to the director. She comes to the LCTB with a good deal of administrative experience, good knowledge of local history and a number of other skills and talents that Gleason expects will prove to be an asset to the bureau.

Eaton Plant Manager Erik Olson gets a hardy laugh as he recovers from just receiving a face full of pie from one of the plant employees. Olson was among several members of management at the plant who recently agreed to take a pie in the face for the American Cancer Society.

Throughout October, Eaton participated in the Pink Challenge, holding fundraisers to benefit ACS. The money will be presented at a later date to the Friends and Family Relay Team. The funds will then be handed off to the Relay for Life of Logan County and the American Cancer Society. The money will be earmarked for breast cancer awareness and support in Logan County, so the funds raised will stay local.
