The Land of Lincoln CEO program hosted its annual Young Entrepreneur Tradeshow on Wednesday evening at the Lincoln American Legion. The event featured LLCEO students who have spent the past school year diving deep into the work it takes to become a business owner.

The tradeshow is the culmination of all that the students have learned as each created a business, developed a marketing plan, and put it into action on Wednesday night.

Eight students were anxious to share their business and drum up some new customers Wednesday evening. The crowd was steady, and it was paying off for young business owners such as Eli Hewitt. Hewitt's business, "Nothing Fancy," is all about a foodie favorite - cheesecake. Hewitt was doing a good enough job selling his product that he took several orders at the trade show.

LDN will have additional coverage from the tradeshow in a future edition.
