Logan County Native Sally Turner accepts appointment to Illinois State Senate

[January 11, 2022]   Early in 2021, it was announced that Logan County native and former Logan County Clerk, Sally Turner had accepted an appointment to the Illinois State Senate.

She was filling the position vacated by Senator Bill Brady after he announced he would be leaving the senate in late 2020.

Several press releases sent out during the year kept readers abreast of Turner’s action in the Senate.

She was also present at a large number of events and activities in Logan County that will be covered in additional issues of 2021 Year in Review.

Late in December, Turner also announced that she plans to seek election into the Illinois State Senate.
