8-7-02 Dear Editor: I am writing because
my pool got destroyed by a knife either Saturday night or Sunday
morning. I got this pool for my stepdaughter, who is 9 years old.
Due to the slashing, now I do not have a pool for her and have to
explain to her why someone would do such a thing. The people who did
this should be ashamed.  The worst part is that they don’t
have to pay for what they have done. If this was young kids, where
are the parents letting them run all night long? This of course is
not the first incident.  I have had my American flag stolen
too. "How sick is that?" It is really sad
that I live in the community of Lincoln and can’t have anything
outside for fear of it being stolen or destroyed.  Something
needs to be done about this. Paula Hall Lincol
