Park Meadows hosts Red,
White and Blue Sunday

[SEPT. 6, 2002]  On Sept. 29 at 10:30 a.m., Park Meadows Baptist Church is hosting their third annual Red, White and Blue Sunday. This is a special day which allows the church to:

Honor and thank fire department, emergency services and law enforcement personnel in the area.

Motivate and challenge people to pray for, support, and appreciate those men and women who dedicate their lives each day to protect and serve us.

To hear the leaders of fire department, emergency services and law enforcement personnel publicly honor someone from their departments.

Teach the youth that these men and women are to be respected and obeyed.

Provide an opportunity for those who work in key areas to hear a message of encouragement from a nationally known and respected chaplain.

The special speaker will be Mark Rizzo. He is an FBI trainer; seminar speaker on gangs, organized crime, criminal justice and behavioral science; and executive director of FREEdom Flyer Ministries, which has more than 500 staff members serving law enforcement in 42 states and four countries.

A potluck meal after the morning service will be provided for all guests and their families and shared by members of the church.
