Australian football

[AUG. 1, 2003]  Dan Kocka, son of Jean and John Kocka of Lincoln, has been selected for the team of 24 to represent the United States in upcoming international play of Australian football. The team is made up of American players from all around the country and is called the United States Revolution.

The U.S. team will play Canada on Aug. 2-3 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Kocka recently played in Los Angeles, Calif., in the East-West All-Star Game.

He currently plays for the St. Louis Blues Australian football team.
