[DEC. 5, 2003]  Six Lincoln Junior High School entries received Judge's Choice awards at the recent IESA state speech contest in Petersburg:

  • Katie Gosda and Caiti Wunderlin -- "Two Little Girls"

  • Cara Papesch and Steph Holford -- improvisational duet

  • Kelsey Dallas and Jessica Owen -- improvisational duet

  • Jaci Gandenberger -- "I Want to Say Something about Parents"

  • Rebecca Kasa -- "Home of the Brave"

  • Cody Follis -- "Thirteen"

This season 23 performances were selected as Judge's Choice from among 305 entries from Area 17. Each judge has an option of selecting up to two performances for this recognition. LJHS has received the honor each of the three years it has been awarded.

Team coaches are Kathy Litherland, Karolee Johnson and Karen Lee.
